	The Taieri Gorge Railway trip is a spectacular half-day excursion into Central Otago, featuring stunning scenery and an on-board cafeteria serving such treats as warm scones with raspberry jam and cream.
	Our very own Dunedin Speights Brewery offers daily beer-tasting tours, and don't dispair if you are not a beer fanatic, they also offer packages which include a hearty lunch or dinner at the well-loved Speights Alehouse restuarant, which is well worth visiting!
	Larnach Castle sits on the Otago Peninsula, offering breath-taking view and a dizzying climb to the top of the tower. And to reward your efforts, there is a restuarant and working fireplace below in the old ball-room.
	We are fortunate to have the only Royal Albatross colony in New Zealand here on our Peninsula, and if the timing is good, you will be treated to some over-sized chicks on the nest, or adult albatross flying overhead. Right underneath the colony is our old Fort Taieroa, with its compressed-air-powered disappearing gun. A favourite for boys and men of all ages!
	The Cadbury Chocolate Factory offers tours, and special entrance to the Cadbury World store. The chocolate waterfall is certainly impressive, but the treats in your tummy are even better.
